Great tasting cake but badly decorated
The design didn’t sit flat on the cake, distorting the image and making bubbles on top of the cake, meaning it didn’t have a very professional appearance. The actual icing of the cake wasn’t done particularly well either - it had cracked and there were parts of the cake not iced at all. The taste of the cake was good, but we needed the appearance to be much better for a corporate cake that was being photographed etc. Thanks. We often have difficulty in winter with our edible image cakes as they are very susceptible to changes in temperature, humidity, etc, which can lead to bubbling and or cracking.
