    Great but could tell it was an old cake

    Cake was a little dry and you could tell it wasn't very fresh anymore. Needed tonne microwaved before eating The Chocolate Cake Company's reply: Hi, Thanks for your review. We're very sorry you weren't happy with the decoration of your cake. It is more likely your cake was a little over-baked rather than being an "old cake". Unfortunately, we seem to have missed picking this up in our quality checks. We would love the opportunity to make this up to you and provide you with a replacement or store credit.     I ordered the caramel choc mud cafe for my Dad's 90 birthday and the long weekend. It was beyond delicious and a real hit. So easy to order on the website and was all ready to pickup.

    Thanks for all your lovely cakes - we have a monthly cake club at work (always a highlight of my week/month...) We've worked our way through the menu and have had the choc/caramel several times, it's our most requested :o) The best ones are when the caramel is oozy/runny, so when you cut into it the caramel runs down the side and makes a huge mess... but a delicious mess
