Yummy!
was fantastic, moist and we were amazed it was gluten free. Still not sure why the label stated that it contained gluten though. i know you have a one size fits all label policy but it was confusing

This is one of the best gluten free chocolate cakes we had so far. Everyone in the house loved it, no one could tell it's gluten free! It's moist, rich, and it's surprisingly not too sweet. It's perfect!

best gluten free chocolate cake ever
this is a great chocolate gluten free cake which is the best I have tasted. It is moist and you would never know by the taste that it is gluten free. Certainly recommend this cake and it is the second time I have purchased it for a family birthday.

Not to usual standard
We have bought the GF chocolate mud cake before and had a much better experience. Unfortunately this time, it was sunk a great deal in the middle. It wasnt noticeable before we cut it because it was iced beautifully but in the middle the cake was so sunken in that the ganache was over 50% of the height. I was surprised that it wasnt mentioned when we picked up. We had taken it to a party and quite a few people mentioned that it was disappointing given the previous high standard of the cakes from your company. The Chocolate Cake Company's reply: Hi Nicola, Thanks for your review. We're very sorry your cake wasn't up to the same standard as previous gluten free cakes you have ordered from us. The gluten free cakes are incredibly difficult to bake and quite inconsistent. Sunken cakes is a bit of a problem with gluten free, though 50% is surprising and disappointing. We are decorating the gluten free cakes in a slightly different way now so we would like to offer you a replacement cake or store credit. We hope you give us a second chance.
